2006 Public Safety & Private Security Recognition Luncheon

 

On Tuesday May 9th, 2006, over 150 dignitaries, public safety and private security professionals gathered to honor and pay tribute to those who have served with distinction.

 

Our Master of Ceremonies, Dave Busiek, News Director for KCCI-TV was joined by distinguished speakers William McCarthy, Chief of Police for the City of Des Moines, Kevin Techau, Commissioner of the Iowa Department of Public Safety, and our Keynote Speaker, David Miller, Administrator of the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division. The Invocation and Benediction were delivered by Rev. John Harrell and colors were presented by the Iowa State University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard.

Public Safety/Private Security Recognition Luncheon 2007

           

           

On Friday May 11th, 2007, nearly 100 dignitaries, public safety and private security professionals gathered for our Second Annual Public Safety/Private Security Recognition Luncheon to honor and pay tribute to those who have served with distinction.

           

Our Master of Ceremonies, Dave Busiek, News Director for KCCI-TV was joined by distinguished speaker and long time ASIS Member, Jack O’Donnell, Chief of Police for the City of West Des Moines and our Keynote Speaker, Russell M. Porter, Assistant Director and Intelligence Bureau Chief of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. The Invocation and Benediction were delivered by Rev. John Harrell and the colors were presented by the Iowa State University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard.

           

At this very special event, awards were presented to deserving recipients in several professional categories who have performed “above and beyond” the call of duty. A recognition plaque was also presented to the agency or company of each recipient.
